I work as a Co-founder of Kanadlab Institute of Intellectual Property & Research, where I support startups, researchers, innovators, and academic institutions in protecting and growing their ideas through effective IP strategies.

Previously, I worked with the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, where I served as a Principal Research Scientist and handled the institute’s intellectual property matters. Working closely with researchers and technology teams there gave me a deep appreciation for how ideas take shape, and how easily they can be lost without the right protection.

Over the last nine years, I’ve worked across patents, trademarks, copyrights, industrial designs, and technology contracts. My focus has always been simple: understand what someone is building, and help them secure it in a way that strengthens their long-term goals. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with inventors, startups, universities, and businesses, and each partnership has reinforced my belief that IP is not just a legal formality, it’s a strategic tool for growth.

I am an engineer by education, and I hold two international master’s degrees in intellectual property - one from JU, Poland in IP law and new technologies, and another from KDI School, South Korea in the economics of innovation & IP. I had an honour to be a scholar of World Intellectual Property Organisation in South Korea. I am also a Registered Indian Patent Agent.

Work has taken me to more than 15 countries for meetings, lectures, policy work, and capacity-building programs. No matter the setting, the most fulfilling part has always been the same: listening to people’s ideas and helping them protect and monetise those ideas with clarity and confidence.

I’ve delivered over 300 invited talks at prestigious organisations like FICCI, ICAR, NIPER, various IITs, and even at TEDx, and I enjoy making IP practical, understandable, and genuinely useful for people who are building something meaningful.
